SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Eric H. Meyer of East Wilton recently graduated Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He received his Airman coin Thursday, April 28 and officially became an Airman with high honors in marksmanship and physical fitness on Friday, April 29.
Meyer will spend the next 12 weeks going through Indoctrination. Upon completion he will begin his training as a Pararescueman.
Congratulations Airman Meyer! And people think Navy Seal training is rigorous. Booyah! My son was a Pararescueman – one of only 8 who graduated in a class that began with 80! He now has an impressive career, his dream job. Even trains Pararescue trainees. Go for it – and don’t ring that bell!
Congratulations to the entire Meyer family; great people!
Amen to that Laura…. AMEN to that!
Congratulations young man. Thank you for choosing to serve. You are appreciated.

Carol
