JAY – The weekly events happening at Spruce Mountain High School for the week of Oct. 27- Nov. 2, 2014:

College Visits:
Representative from the following colleges will be at SMHS on the following dates to meet with interested seniors:

Spruce Mountain High School
Spruce Mountain High School

Thursday, Oct. 30 – Washington County Community College
Monday, Nov. 3 – Husson University

Project Graduation Meeting:
There will be another Project Graduation planning meeting. All parents of senior students are encouraged to attend on Monday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. in the SMHS Library.

Photography Class:
Ken Landry is offering a photography class free of charge to anyone who is interested. It will be held every Monday night from 6-8 p.m. If interested call Ken at 897-4336 ext. 228.

Europe Meeting:
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the library for all people who have already signed up to travel to Europe April, 2015.

Blood Drive:
There will be a blood drive at SMHS on Thursday, Oct. 30. This blood drive is sponsored by both the Job’s for Maine Graduates and the National Honor Society. Contact Barbara Jewett if interested in donating at 897-4336 ext 242.

Daylight Saving Time Ends:
Time to turn the clocks back one hour on Sunday, Nov. 2.

Athletics at Spruce Mtn. High School:
Monday, Oct. 27 – JV Football Home vs Leavitt 4 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 28 – Varsity Field Hockey Semi Final Playoff game at Leavitt 3:30 p.m.
