Franklin County Democrats celebrate 2018 elections, prepare 2019 actions

FARMINGTON – The next meeting of the Franklin County Democratic Committee will be on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the W.G. Mallett School in Farmington.

Following a brief report on the inauguration and celebration of Franklin County resident and new governor, Janet Mills, the FCDC will introduce its new executive committee and elect a new alternate representative to the Democratic State Committee. Among other new business will be meetings of five action groups to prepare plans for the year ahead: Community Outreach, Fundraising, Elections, Government Watchdog, and 21st-Century Technology + Data. In addition, the FCDC announces the annual St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast, to be held this year at the VFW Hall in Jay on Saturday, March 16.
