AUGUSTA – Four Franklin County 4-H dairy project members recently participated in the State 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl competition held at the Farm Bureau Building in Augusta. 4-H members from all over the state were invited to test their dairy knowledge skills and try out for a position on the State Dairy Quiz Bowl Team which will compete later this year at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield MA.
Junior 4-H members Mason Rowe of New Vineyard, Bradley Smith of New Sharon, and Kirsten Davis, also of New Sharon are all members of the Franklin County Dairy Club. Amberleah Smith is a member of the Young Farmers 4-H Club. All members received a certificate of participation.
