WILTON – The Wilton Fish & Game Association members and guests recently hosted an appreciation dinner for several area game wardens and biologist with a full clubhouse of attendees.

New members for the club board of directors were elected and a short business meeting was held. The potluck dinner offered many wild game dishes such as moose meat stew, deer shepherds pie, deer chili and deer mincemeat bars.

Following the meal the wardens and biologist spoke on several up coming legislative bills and answered many questions from the audience such as the effect of such a severe winter on the deer population, moose ticks, and
turkey population.

The Wilton Fish & Game Assoc. meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Memberships are available online at rowe.wiltonfg.wilton7@gmail.com.
