Mt. Blue High School student Roshan Luick presents her work to representatives of the Geological Society of Maine. Luick was awarded for her outstanding poster.

FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue High School junior Roshan Luick received an award for outstanding poster presentation from the Geological Society of Maine. Her presentation discussed the origin of sedimentary deposits adjacent to a section of the Pope Road in Chesterville.

The annual meeting, which highlights earth and climate science from colleges all over the state of Maine, was held at Colby College.

Luick is currently a student of Patricia Millette, a scicence teacher at Mt. Blue High School.
