CHESTERVILLE – With structural repairs completed, the Chesterville Center Union Meetinghouse is once again suitable for public use, according to spokesperson Carolyn Drugge. An open house has been planned for Sunday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m.

“Our non-profit board is pleased to invite the public to this holiday open house to see what a great space the Meetinghouse is, to share memories of past experiences, and to explore its potential for a variety of events and uses,” said Drugge.

The building is on the corner of the Borough and Zion’s Hill Roads. Live music, refreshments and a Christmas carol sing-along will all be featured, and historical information about the building will be on hand. Reminiscing is encouraged.

Drugge noted that community members are welcome to bring an instrument to join several young local musicians who will be playing fiddle, guitar, cello, and banjo, in an open jam session. There is a piano on site.

For more information, call Carolyn at 778-3767 or Cyndy at 778-3513.
