PHILLIPS – The Phillips Old Home Days parade winners are: Most Beautiful-1st “Class Of 1966”, 2nd “Swinging ’50s”, 3rd “Wild Flower ’60s”; Funniest – 1st “Maine Rockers”, 2nd “Ladies of the ’80s”, 3rd “Bath tub Gym”; Youth Division- 1st “The ’50s”, 2nd “Make Cookies NOT War!”, 3rd “Walking Boy and Cub Scouts”; Most Original – 1st “Roderick Railroad”, 2nd “Hearse and Horses”, 3rd “1940 Victory Garden”; Big Rigs – “Thorndike’s Last Entry”; Judge’s Choice – “Roaring ’20s”. This year the “Honored Lumberman” was Loring “Dick” Witham. His grandson James accepted the plaque in his honor.

Frog Jumping– First place went to Colesyn Thorndike. His frog jumped 97 inches.

King/Queen- As no one ran this year, 2015 still reigns, Shianne Bryant and Gage Smith.
