JAY – The state will be finishing up their vegetation control project on the Rail Trail from French Falls to Route 4 today, Aug. 23.
The trail will be closed during the project with caution tape which will be removed when they are done. They use a 5 percent solution of a Roundup clone in water.
Once dry it’s ok for people and pets, according to Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere.
