Vacation:
Schools in RSU73 will be closed for winter break from Wednesday, Dec. 24 to Sunday, Jan. 4 for vacation. Happy New Year!
Basketball Tournament:
The SMHS Sports Boosters will be hosting the 6th annual Middle School/Travel Team Basketball Tournament at SMMS and SMHS on Monday, Dec. 29 and Tuesday, Dec. 30. The tournament is limited to 8 boys and 8 girls teams. The tourney is double elimination to end in a one game championship game. Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams.
SMART Robotics Dinner:
SMHS SMART Robotics group is hosting a pasta dinner & auction on Saturday, Jan. 3 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the SMHS Cafeteria. Admission is $8 per person or $20 per family. The Auction will begin at 6 p.m. – Bid Early, Bid Often. Beginning Jan. 5, 42 students and 17 mentors will begin brainstorming, prototyping and building this year’s robot. They will have 6 weeks to complete the 2015 robot. The team will compete at the Pine Tree district event in Lewiston on March 13th and 14th.
