Strong Public Library reading program explores the world of different heroes

1 min read

STRONG – Readers from ages 3 to 12 will explore the world of different heroes this summer as Strong Public Library presents “Every Hero Has a Story” during their summer library program.

Children will read about fictional and real life heroes, complete crafts, create their own hero, and meet some of the heroes who live in the surrounding community. There will be snacks each week and the final celebration will include cake and ice cream. A performance by Conjuring Carroll, family magician, will finish up the program on Aug. 6 when a drawing for both a boys’ and girls’ bicycle will take place.

Registration for “Every Hero Has a Story” ends on June 19. For more information, call the library at 684-4003 (Tuesday & Thursday 1 – 7 and Saturday 10 – 2) or visit our website www.strong.lib.me.us

Children of all abilities are welcome and all programs are free of charge.
