JAY – Here is a listing of the weekly events happening at Spruce Mountain High School:

Early Release Day:
Wednesday, Sept. 17th will be an early release day for all RSU 73 students.

College Representatives:
Representatives from Central Maine Community College and Unity College will be at the high school on Friday, Sept. 19 for any students interested in meeting with them to discuss attending college at their schools.

Class Rings:
A representative of Josten’s will be at the high school on Thursday, Sept. 18

SATs:
Any senior wishing to retake the SATs in October should stop by the Guidance Office for details as the deadline is fast approaching.

School Spirit Challenge & Food Drive:
Spruce Mtn. High School will be participating in the Channel 13 WGME School Spirit Challenge and Food Drive on Thursday, Oct. 9. We can begin collecting food now. Cash donations will also be accepted and every dollar will count toward 5 pounds of food. All food will be donated to the Good Shepherd Food Bank.

Homecoming:
Student Council has begun meeting to make plans for Homecoming Week and the Spirit Challenge. Homecoming will take place the week of Sept. 22.
