Lincoln is joining Cain for this clinic. She’s a resident at Central Maine Medical Center, with a strong interest in family medicine. She can relate to student athletes as she has been playing soccer since she was very young. Lincoln enjoys outdoor activities, especially in the Rangeley area.

“I love interacting with student athletes – they have so much passion, drive and determination. I want to help keep our local student athletes in the best shape they can be to perform at their optimal levels and prevent injuries this fall sports season,” said Cain.

The Rangeley Health and Wellness Center is located at 25 Dallas Hill Road in Rangeley. Appointments can be made by calling 344-2260. $25 physical fee is due at the time of service. CMO is only able to accept cash or checks, made payable to Central Maine Orthopaedics, at their Rangeley Clinic.

  1. To our communities- I would like to take a moment to talk about so called sports physicals Physicians think of all physicals similarly- there is nothing special about a “sport physical” Sport physicals are required by school for children to participate in sports This is for safety of course, but also because school age kids are pats the age of baby checkups that concern development and of er immunizations and often are not getting checkups. The “sports physical” is a chance to re connect with a primary care doctor who knows your child, knows your family ,and can be a personal physician with a relationship with you .That full thorough exam that reveiws envelopment, risky behaviors, preventative and care can make all the difference in picking up ealry problems and keeping a child well. Preventive visits are free due to the law called Obama care if one has any insurance There can be no cost to the patient. I urge parents to have a primary care provider for their children, one who sees them over and over as they grow up, one who the family can call upon. Convenience sometimes trumps everything else but he “sports physical” is really that full checkup that every child should be getting
