FARMINGTON – Lisa Woods of HealthQuest Chiropractic was elected president of the Maine Chiropractic Assistant’s Association for the 3rd consecutive term. Woods has been volunteering in this position for the last eight years, and looks forward to another three years of helping the association thrive.

The MCAA is responsible for the annual training and certification process of chiropractic assistants in the State of Maine. As the president, Lisa, along with four board members, is responsible for coordinating and developing annual seminars to further educate the members and keep all members current with the provisions of their license requirements.

Lisa has been employed at HealthQuest Chiropractic for 15 years and serves as their front desk and scheduling manager.

“Working at HealthQuest has inspired me to take this leadership role and being part of the association brings me much satisfaction,” said Woods. “Knowing that in some small way I am helping other CA’s learn to love their job. As a chiropractic assistant, we get to play a part in helping people get well naturally with no drugs or surgery and I have been fortunate enough to be part of this at HealthQuest.”
