Locals recognized with Goslin Medal

Franklin Health Care Support Nurse Nancy Thomas recently presented the Goslin Medal award to Joanne Stinneford and her daughter Debra Vining for living well with insulin-dependent diabetes for more than 50 years. Son Ryan Stinneford was also recognized, but unable to attend the small ceremony at Franklin Memorial Hospital to honor this distinction for conscientious and courageous attention to the many challenging details involved in managing diabetes.

  4. So sorry I couldn’t be there due to work travel. For the 28 years I have lived with diabetes, I have been blessed to have such great role models and inspirations as my mom and my big sister!
