RANGELEY – In celebration of its 20th year, Rangeley Health & Wellness (RHW) has been granted a $20,000 challenge grant. For every dollar raised in the community it will be matched dollar for dollar from our funders up to a maximum of $20,000.

This amazing opportunity will enable RHW to continue and enhance the many programs and services we currently provide to the community; physicals and immunizations for children, after-school kids programs including Children in Action and Fit Kidz, Functional Fitness for Seniors, flu shot clinics, sports specific training for athletes, summer camps, and occupation therapy programs for children in need. These programs are all provided at no charge or at significantly reduced costs.

A medical needs program is available to patients of Rangeley Family Medicine to help defer the cost of necessary medical testing that individuals might not have ability to pay for. Scholarships are available for our graduating seniors. Fitness Membership rates are structured to make the use of the facility affordable for all with even greater reduced rates for students on the honor role at RLRS and to our seniors. A free Fitness and Nutrition assessment is also available to all who visit our Fitness Center.

Your contribution, no matter how small, will help the center meet this challenge and will go a long way towards helping support these programs and the operations of the organization.

Moving forward with the challenge, it is hoped there will be a large percentage of local participation. Contributions should include how many family members it will support and can be sent to RHW, PO Box 722, Rangeley, ME. Thank you for helping us make our community a better place with high quality programs that are affordable for all. Let the challenge begin!
