FARMINGTON – A 38-year-old man wanted on a parole violation charge by authorities in Arizona was reportedly found living in an apartment on Farmington Falls Road.

Farmington Police Chief Jack Peck said an anonymous tip led them to an apartment where Michael Anderson, Sr., is believed to have been living for the last three months. Anderson is wanted on a parole violation charge stemming from a burglary conviction in Arizona.

On Monday, police Officer Bridgette Gilbert obtained a warrant to search the apartment and at 1 p.m. with other officers, found Anderson at the residence, Peck said. Anderson was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge.

The warrant for Anderson’s arrest was issued by Arizona authorities on May 22.
