JAY – The Jay Village Water District has lifted the boil order for customers affected by the water break in the village area. Customers within the district may now resume normal consumption of water.
Water samples were tested at a lab in Augusta and determined safe for public consumption.
The water district wishes to express their thanks to all those inconvenienced by this incident. Ronald Moreau, district treasurer, also issued a special thanks to those who dedicated their time and talents to getting the word out and repairing the damage to the system, and those responsible for testing the water.
