Eustis man arrested on domestic violence charges

EUSTIS – A local man is facing multiple counts of domestic violence assault this week, following a Franklin County Sheriff’s Department investigation.

Paul Pitcher, 28 of Eustis, has been charged with domestic violence aggravated assault, a Class B felony, and misdemeanor terrorizing. In a separate incident, he is also being charged with domestic violence assault, a Class C felony, against a child under the age of 6.

According to Sheriff Scott Nichols, Pitcher was arrested following an investigation by Deputy Sandy Burke, Cpl. Chris Chase and Lt. David St. Laurent after the department received a report of domestic violence from the Flagstaff Apartments in Eustis.

The first alleged incident, which led to the aggravated assault and terrorizing charges, reportedly occurred one month prior to Wednesday’s disclosure. Pitcher was also arrested for another incident, allegedly involving a child, that occurred Tuesday in Eustis.
