Franklin County Sheriff’s Department weekly report for April 11 – 18, 2014:

4/11/2014 Deputy Matt Brann responded to the New Vineyard Road in New Vineyard regarding a disturbance complaint. A trespass warning was issued to one of the parties involved.

4/12/2014 Deputy Morgan arrested a man after he turned himself in on a warrant.

4/12/2014 Deputy Brann is investigating a report of phone harassment which is allegedly originating from Franklin County. The complainant lives in Dixfield.

4/13/2014 Lt. David St. Laurent responded to an alarm on the Avon Valley Road, in Avon. The building was secure.

4/13/2014 Cpl. Chris Chase and Detective Stephen Charles served a protection from abuse order at a residence in Avon.

4/13/2014 Cpl. Chase investigated a single vehicle accident on Route 27 in New Vineyard where the vehicle rolled over onto its roof. There were no injuries as a result of the accident.

4/13/2014 Detective Stephen Charles provided an escort at a residence in New Vineyard on Allen Drive.

4/13/2014 Cpl. Chase investigated a report of criminal mischief on the Lane Road in New Sharon. Unknown persons had struck the complainant’s mailbox.

4/13/2014 Detective Stephen Charles investigated a single vehicle accident on School Street in Perkins Twp. There were no injuries at the scene.

4/14/2014 Cpl. Chase and Lt. St. Laurent investigated a late report of domestic violence which was reported to have occurred on April 6. As a result of the investigation, a man was arrested for domestic violence assault.

4/14/2014 Cpl. Chase responded to the Butterfield Road in Industry regarding an ongoing parking issue on a private road due to the current mud season.

4/15/2014 Deputy Morgan, Deputy Brann and Deputy Hartley responded to Main Street in Phillips for a report of a suicidal male. The man was outside of the residence of the complainant banging on her door trying to gain entrance. Morgan and Brann found the man back at his residence then transported him to the hospital for an evaluation.

4/16/2014 Deputy Morgan received a complaint that was originally called in as a theft but investigation revealed that it is a civil issue.

4/16/2014 Deputy Brann stopped a car for a traffic violation on Route 27 in New Vineyard. As a result of the stop, Brann ran the driver’s information which indicated that the driver, a man, had a fugitive from justice warrant from Missouri. He was arrested and transported to Franklin County Jail.

4/16/2014 Deputy Nicholas Zecher and Deputy Hartley responded to Day Mountain Road in Temple for a report of a domestic disturbance, no charges were filed.

4/17/2014 Deputy Sandy Burke responded to a report of flooding over Route 4 in Avon.

4/17/2014 Deputy Brann responded to the Butterfield Road in Industry regarding ongoing parking complaints because the road has been constricted due to excessive mud.

4/17/2014 Deputy Burke investigated a report of theft from the Cape Code Hill School in New Sharon.

4/17/2014 Deputy Zecher responded to a report of a theft on the Intervale Road in Temple, however investigation revealed that this was a civil issue between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend.

4/17/2014 Deputy Hartley responded to the Temple Road in Temple where the complainant called to report that her younger brother was out of control and punching walls. He was transported to the hospital.

Deputies conducted 31 building checks during this reporting period, all were secure.

Transport deputies traveled 936 miles during this reporting period transporting prisoners in central Maine.
