Franklin County Sheriff’s Department weekly report for April 17 – May 1, 2015:

4/26/2015 Deputy Colt Bernhardt, Deputy Sandy Burke and Cpl. Chris Chase responded to West Mills Road in Industry to remove a subject with mental health issue and violent from a residence. Subject was apprehended and transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital.

4/27/2015 Deputy Bernhardt responded to a car vs. deer accident on the Weeks Mills Road in New Sharon, the deer died at the scene.

4/27/2015 Deputy Bernhardt responded to Norcross Hill Road in Chesterville regarding suspicious tire tracks at a residence there.

4/28/2015 Deputy Matt Brann responded to Zion’s Hill Road in Chesterville regarding a civil issue.

4/28/2015 Cpl. Nate Bean responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 2 in New Sharon.

4/28/2015 Deputy Kevin Hartley investigated a threatening complaint on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon.

4/28/2015 Cpl. Nate Reid and Deputy Hartley responded to Spruce Nubble Road in Freeman twp. regarding a suspicious person.

4/28/2015 Deputy Bernhardt responded to Smith Road in Chesterville after a teen was requested be removed from the residence.

4/28/2015 Deputy Nichols Zecher conducted a welfare check on West Freeman Road in Strong.

4/28/2015 Deputy Zecher investigated a burglary complaint on Chandler Road in Strong.

4/29/2015 Deputy Zecher responded to the Archer Road in Chesterville regarding a residential alarm.

4/29/2015 Deputy Brann responded to East Side Road in Carthage regarding a civil issue.

4/29/2015 Cpl. Reid investigated a report of suspicious activity on the Flagg Road in New Sharon. The complainant said she saw lights outside of her house.

4/29/2015 Deputy Bernhardt investigated a report of a sex offense on Chesterville Hill Road in Chesterville.

4/29/2015 Deputy Hartley responded to Lake Street in New Vineyard regarding a report of people at an unoccupied camp there. The people were gone upon arrival.

4/30/2015 Deputy Bernhardt assisted Farmington police with removing a person from a business in town.

4/30/2015 Cpl. Bean and K-9 Diesel assisted Jay police with a request for help with a burglary investigation in North Jay.

4/30/2015 Deputy Brann investigated a civil issue on Main Street in Kingfield.

4/30/2015 Deputy Zecher investigated a report of vandalism on the Chandler Road in Strong.

4/30/2015 Deputy Hartley investigated a report of a man standing on Main Street in Kingfield acting suspiciously, the man was found and identified. No charges.

4/30/2015 Cpl. Reid investigated a report of criminal threatening between juveniles in Strong.

4/30/2015 Deputy Zecher and Corporal Bean responded to a domestic disturbance on Cummins Hill Rd in Temple. No charges were filed.

5/1/2015 Deputy Bernhardt investigated a report of a phone scam on the Carthage Road in Carthage.

5/1/2015 Deputy Brann investigated a report of alleged theft on Norton Hill Road in Strong.

5/1/2015 Deputy Brann and Cpl. Bean responded to Maxwell Road in Temple regarding a report of a suicidal person. A male threatened to kill himself and was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Deputies conducted 7 Elder Checks during this period. Deputies conducted 30 building checks during this reporting period, all were secure.
