Franklin County Sheriff’s Office weekly report for Oct. 28 – Nov. 4, 2016:

10/30/2016 Deputy Keith Madore responded to a report of an out-of-control 12-year-old in Rangeley Plt.

10/30/2016 Deputy Sandy Burke investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle on Eustis Ridge Road in Stratton. The vehicle was parked near the complainant’s driveway. It was gone upon arrival.

10/31/2016 Deputy Bradley Scovil responded to a logging truck accident where the truck had run off the road and rolled over on Route 16 in Adams Twp. Because of a fuel spill, a State Police commercial enforcement trooper was called and DEP was notified. No injuries were reported.

10/31/2016 Deputy Derek Doucette conducted a traffic stop on the Franklin Road in Jay, as a result of the stop Tracy Dingus, 44, of Jay, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

10/31/2016 Lt. David St. Laurent, Det. Kenneth Charles, Deputy Keith Madore arrested Michael Toomey, 46, of Kingfield, on a fugitive from justice arrest warrant out of New York.

10/31/2016 Deputy Doucette served a woman in Kingfield and a man Carrabassett Valley orders regarding harassment incidents against each other.

10/31/2016 Deputy Burke responded to Pleasant Street in Phillips regarding a report of a disturbance between several males. Nothing was found.

11/1/2016 Deputy Burke assisted Industry Fire Dept. with traffic control at a fire scene on the Industry Road.

11/1/2016 Deputy Burke responded to assist Rangeley police with a missing person compliant on Old Skiway Road in Rangeley. It was determined that the missing person was not missing and had been with a third party.

11/2/2016 Deputy Burke responded to TransCanada operations hut for an entry alarm, it was determined to be a false alarm.

11/3/2016 Sgt. Matt Brann responded to Main Street in Eustis regarding a possible vandalism complaint. Further investigation revealed it was a civil issue between a landlord and tenant.

11/4/2016 Lt. St. Laurent assisted State Police Trooper Bronson with a domestic disturbance in New Vineyard. No charges were filed.

11/4/2016 Sgt. Brann and Detective Charles responded to Reeds Mill Road in Philips regarding an unattended death. No suspicious circumstances were involved.

Deputies conducted 31 building checks during this time period, all were secure. Deputies also conducted five elder checks.
