Franklin County Sheriff’s Department weekly report for March 20-27, 2015:
3/21/2015 Deputy Colt Bernhardt responded to Zion’s Hill Rd in Chesterville regarding an alleged violation of protection order. Investigation revealed no violation occurred.
3/21/2015 Deputy Bernhardt investigated a report of an intoxicated male walking on the Vienna Road in Chesterville.
3/21/2015 Deputy Matt Brann responded to Industry Road in Industry regarding a civil issue.
3/21/2015 Deputy Sandy Burke arrested Eric Barnes of Skowhegan on a warrant.
3/23/2015 Deputy Nicholas Zecher responded to the Weld Road in Phillips regarding a report of a suspicious male walking on the road.
3/24/2015 Deputy Brann responded to Goodwin Road in Carthage regarding a report of a motorist running over chickens in the roadway.
3/25/2015 Deputy Burke responded to the White Wolf on Main Street in Stratton regarding a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that some people who were snowmobiling together got into an altercation, no charges were filed. Carrabassett Valley Police Department Officer Billian assisted Burke.
3/25/2015 Lt. David Rackliffe and K-9 “Justice” were called to assist Jay police with a search for a man who was wanted for questioning regarding a domestic dispute.
3/25/2015 Deputy Brann investigated a possible violation of a protection order on Duck Scout Road in Avon.
3/25/2015 Deputy Bernhardt, Lt. Rackliffe, Lt. David St. Laurent investigated an unattended death on Arnold Trail in Eustis.
3/25/2015 Cpl. Nate Reid investigated a report of violation of protection order on Dodge Road in Phillips. The complainant reported to have been receiving texts from a person reported to be on a protection order. Investigation revealed that no active P.O. exists.
3/25/2015 Cpl. Chris Chase investigated a single vehicle accident on the Reeds Mill Road in Phillips. No injuries were reported.
3/25/2015 Deputy Brann investigated a report of a car passing a stopped school bus on the Salem Road near Mt. Abram High School.
3/26/2015 Deputy Brann investigated a bad check complaint at Fotter’s Market in Stratton. A Rangeley woman reportedly had written two checks in the amount of $440 to the store on a closed account and is being charged with the offense.
3/26/2015 Cpl. Chase and Deputy Bernhardt assisted State Police with a domestic disturbance on Mile Hill Road in New Sharon.
Deputies conducted 10 Elder Checks during this period. Deputies conducted 38 building checks during this reporting period, all were secure.
