10/10/2014 Deputy Matt Brann assisted State Police with a traffic accident on Route 2 in New Sharon.
10/11/2014 Deputy Andrew Morgan investigated an assault complaint between students at Mt. Abram High School.
10/11/2014 Cpl. Nathan Reid investigated a report of camp burglary in Alder Stream Twp., the complainant stated that a flashlight and a water pump had been stolen from a shed. Nothing was missing from the camp.
11/12/2014 Deputy Kevin Hartley assisted Somerset SO deputy with a motor vehicle accident in New Portland on Route 27.
10/14/2014 Deputy Brann responded to a residential alarm on Avon Valley Road in Avon. All was secure, false alarm.
10/14/2014 Cpl. Chris Chase responded to a car fire on Kimball Pond Road in New Sharon.
10/14/14 Deputy Brann and Deputy Nicholas Zecher responded to Route 27 in New Vineyard regarding a report of a male who had jumped out of a car and was suicidal. Deputies found the man, interviewed him then transported him to Franklin Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
10/15/2014 Cpl. Chase investigated a report of unleashed dogs on a neighbor’s property on Riverside Street in Kingfield.
10/15/2014 Deputy Zecher assisted Trooper Keith Barton with an out-of-control teenager on Pine Street in Kingfield. Zecher transported the teenager to Franklin Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
10/15/2014 Deputy Sandy Burke investigated a report of stolen political signs off from Route 27 in New Vineyard.
10/15/2014 Sheriff Scott Nichols, Sr. investigated a report of vandalized political signs on Route 27 in New Sharon.
10/15/2014 Cpl. Nate Bean, deputies Zecher and Brann responded to Taylor Hill Road in New Vineyard regarding a report of a missing 95-year-old man who had been missing for over 4 hours. Cpl. Bean and K-9 Diesel discovered the man a half mile away from his house lost in a swamp. Zecher carried the man out of the woods back home.
10/16/2014 Deputy Zecher investigated a theft complaint on Huff Road in Avon.
10/16/2014 Lt. David Rackliffe and Deputy Zecher investigated a court-ordered child custody dispute on Starks Road in New Sharon.
10/16/2014 Deputy Brann investigated a child custody dispute on Varnum Pond Road in Temple.
10/17/2014 Deputy Colt Bernhardt assisted Jay police with a car theft investigation.
10/17/2014 Deputy Bernhardt investigated a criminal threatening complaint on Burbank Hill Road in Strong.
