JAY – At 4:30 this afternoon, Jay Village Water District has lifted the boil order for customers who were effected by the water break last Thursday on Main Street, Ludden Drive, Hyde Road, Spring Street, Forest Circle and Intervale Road up to Smith Avenue.
“Water samples were tested at a lab in Augusta and determined safe for public consumption said Ronald Moreau, treasurer of the district.
“The water district wishes to express their thanks to all who were inconvenienced by this incident,” he said.
