FARMINGTON – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two people following two separate incidences at Walmart.

Officer Justin Blais of the Farmington Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying this woman seen in this security video at right. He said he would like to question her in connection with a theft of a $378 Vizio television from Walmart on Jan. 22. Anyone who may be able to identify the subject is asked to contact Blais at 207-778-6311.

The Farmington Police Department is again seeking the assistance from the public in identifying a male subject that allegedly walked out of Walmart at least twice in the past month with at least two items, said Sgt. Michael Adcock. These incidents include the theft of a Keurig coffee machine, valued at $121.99, and an inflatable air mattress, valued at $99.96. Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call the Farmington Police Department at 207-778-6311.

  1. Why can’t walmart hire more uncover agents to spot these people? They expect the public to help, when no one can even make out their faces on they’re cheap cameras. Good luck….

  2. The photos are fine, anyone who knew these people would recognize them. “Undercover” agents cost money causing prices to rise at your sacred Walmart. How about people just stop stealing? Maybe Chenoa could volunteer some time to be an uncover agent…..

  3. Chenoa! What a great idea! Why didnt I think of that? We can hire a guard for every door and check every item on every receipt along wit the date on the receipt because it could be a receipt from a different day! Then we can raise the peice of every store item by twenty five cents to pay their 24/7 salary!

  4. ….and Walmart already has “Greeters” back at their entrances so instead of just standing their looking smart they could be checking as shoppers exit.

  5. The greeters are not always standing at the doors. I have seen them just tell people to “go ahead”. Maybe Wal Mart SHOULD have secret shoppers, that watch people that may be taking the security stickers off of these items. People should not be stealing anyway, however, that is not just going to stop. The world is only getting worse. There is nothing that is getting better. I couldn’t imagine taking from any store or anyone! Time for a change somewhere I think.

  6. How is it that we seem to always blame someone/something we don’t like (such as Walmart) and don’t seem to blame the real people at fault, the crooks. It is not Walmart’s fault that there are crooks among us.

  7. Wal-Mart needs to have their door greeters at every entrance from the time they open until the time they close. It’s that simple.

  8. They do have secret shoppers at Wal-Mart. They just can’t keep their eye on every single person in the store. Carp happens, especially at Wal-Mart.

  9. Interesting! I had a good friend who was a greeter in a Wal Mart. She was disabled and in a wheel chair. The store had her placed where she could see customers enter and greet or talk with them or leave or try to leave. Sometimes carts loaded without pay. She caught a lot of people trying to leave without paying. She had security guards and other employees helping her as well when she caught some one. I believe she may have had a pager. She saved Wal Mart a lot of money, time and aggravation. You would not believe the things people do to try to get some thing for free. I was amazed at all the stories she had to tell me. Wish she was still living now. And she was in a wheel chair, unable to chase them physically but she loved her job. Why can’t other stores help their employees more or get more help, if they are really serious about cutting down crime.

  10. Is running pictures in the Bulldog Walmart’s idea? I remember a picture of a shoplifter at Reny’s. I expect it’s a good deterrent, having your picture published. Nothing wrong with that.

  11. what a funny debate. i’ll let wal-mart handle their own business practices, they seem to being doing well enough at it. meanwhile i’ll keep my eye open for the folks pictured.

  12. I am blown away by this debate. Instead of being outraged that there are people committing crimes in your own community, you’re upset that the police are using a source available to them to help solve the crime? And perhaps deter it from happening again? Here’s another thought…a GREETER at Walmart is just that. Not security, never intended to be. Sure, they may check a bag here and there…but for the most part they are there to just reach out and touch their community, a friendly local face for people coming in. Get your priorities straight people, stealing is a CRIME, period. Be mad at the ones who are stealing, not the store. Good grief.

  13. If someone tells the police who it is, how can they really prove it? It looks just like someone I know but the picture isn’t clear enough to be 100% certain. I’m sure that the person who stole the keurig sold it so without being in possession of the stolen item, is a fuzzy picture really enough to convict them?

  14. You should let the police look into it bee. If it is the person you know maybe they need some help. They certainly shouldn’t be stealing. How could you ever trust them again not knowing for sure if it is them. They could steal from you.

  15. bee, if you know they sold it they must have stole it. They are called Criminals. Just call the cops and let them sort it out. And another thing bee you must know them even if the picture is ” Fuzzy”.
