JAY – Following Thursday’s multi-hour meeting and an Executive Session, the Regional School Unit 73 school board voted to name Spruce Mountain Middle School’s principal the district’s acting superintendent.

Principal Scott Albert will serve as acting superintendent until an interim superintendent can be appointed. The district’s previous superintendent, Todd LeRoy, submitted his resignation Thursday. The board unanimously voted last night to allow Chair Denise Rodzen to accept that resignation.
