WELD – Voters elected to retain incumbent Selectman Thomas Skolfield for another term Friday evening.

Skolfield’s 58 votes were enough to defeat challenger Margot Joly’s 40 votes and allow the selectman to retain his seat.

Joseph Demers, running uncontested, will fill the one year left on Selectman Mike Pratt’s term. Pratt resigned due to health.

All other positions were uncontested. The town meeting begins Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m.
