FARMINGTON – South Street will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 8; Wednesday, Sept. 9; and Thursday, Sept. 10 for trenching in preparation for the construction of the University of Maine at Farmington central heating plant.
Additionally, on Thursday, Sept. 10, there will be a lane shift crossing Main Street to Depot Street in Farmington.
Occasional road closures will be necessary as construction on the project continues throughout summer and fall 2015. In case of bad weather, closures will be postponed until the next good weather day.
