  1. Living close in town, it was very loud and lots of young adults out and about very late. Glad they did not come to my property, as they might get a BIG surprise !

  2. Seriously, Farmingtonite?! It seems like you’re implying that you would shoot a teenager for putting a pumpkin through your window…not sure that the two on our par with each other.

  3. Never said… just a ticked off person chasing them down would be enough to scare them I am sure.

  4. In life, people who do things don’talk about it. Those who talk about don’t do it. If you are afraid to sign a letter, nobody hs much to fear from you.

  5. It seems no one understands the aggravation of loud noise in the neighborhood untill over the age of 35 unfortunately.

Hmmmm. Farmingtonite, before you take rash measures…how about loud classical music for these youngsters. Seems like there is no better “repellent” against irritating 20-somethings than loud classical music……..him, maybe choral choir music ? They will be running away droves….and classical music (or at least Mozart) has been shown to improve plant growth in studies ;0)

  6. I’ll buy a ticket to watch farmingtonite extract some skunk pee from that critter…

  7. I have strong feelings about never seeing a town policeman uptown. When I was in high school, an officer was on duty down town at night. He would make the loop around the Park, down Front Street and take a left by the Farmers’ Union then back up Main Street, several times each evening and then would return and park by the Kyes Agency Bldg on Broadway. Seemed to work and keep the hoodlums in line if there were any. If Farmington PD has a shortage of manpower or an extra busy night perhaps
they could a little assist from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Dept.

  8. Rjt,,, the Farmington police still do the patrols today.
They even sit by keyes insurance as you describe.
They also do the walk around checking doors.
They are there doing their job.
I actually get annoyed cause it seems they are everywhere all the time…
Not sure what town you are describing.
