Vienna town election, meeting is March 13, 14

VIENNA – Town elections will be held on Friday, March 13 in the Vienna Community Room, while the annual town meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.

According to Town Clerk Annie Tibbetts, polls will be open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Residents will be filling three selectperson seats, as well as choosing a town clerk, tax collector, treasurer and road commissioner.

Running unopposed for the 1st Selectperson and 3rd Selectperson seats is Doris “Dodi” Thompson and Jeffrey Rackliff, respectively, while three residents are running for the 2nd Selectperson seat: Steven Lilley Sr.,
Roger Pelton Jr. and Christopher Smith.

Two residents, Daniel Goucher and Darrell Watson, are running for the road commissioner position. Tibbetts is running unopposed for town clerk and tax collector, while Martha Gross is running unopposed for town treasurer.
