CORNVILLE – Alice L. Mills age 78, formerly of Wells, Maine passed away peacefully April 21, 2016 with her Family by her side after an extended illness.
She was born March 25, 1938 in Wells, the daughter of William and Minnie Goodale.
Alice was solely devoted to being a homemaker. She loved music and her dogs stubby and dusty. It was later in her life she and Gerald retired to Cornville, Maine with Gerald Jr. And spent many happy nights listening to the sounds of nature, playing uno, and tending to her home.
Surviving is her loving husband of 50 years Gerald E. Mills Sr, sons: Gerald E. Mills Jr, James Locke Jr., Daughters: Roxanne Demers and husband Al Demers, Petula Williams and husband Brian, Melanie Austin and husband Frank, Betty Jean Locke, Linda Bryant, Grandchildren :Julie Williams, Nicole Worden, Jacob Worden, and Katie Dussex.
She is predeceased by her father William Goodale and grandson Anthony Dussex.
The family wishes to thank Hospice for such superb and loving care and to the staff at Maplecrest retirement center in Madison, Maine for their wonderful help and compassionate bedside manner.
