FARMINGTON – Beverly A. Farrington, 85, of Jay, passed peacefully, in the company of family on Friday afternoon, July 22, 2016.

She and her late husband, Merton, always enjoyed the agricultural fair circuit, especially enjoying time with family and friends at Fryeburg Fair.

She enjoyed all aspects of farm living; flower and vegetable gardening, canning the fruits of their labors, and hosting gatherings at the farm from Sunday dinners to birthday barbecues; the farm pasture serving as a playland for multiple generations.

Bev also enjoyed going on trips and eating out at restaurants. She also enjoyed word-find and crossword puzzles and baking her well-known and loved molasses cookies.

She was predeceased by her husband, siblings: Stan Heath, Marion Dillingham, Esther Heath, Barbara Bellegarde and a special nephew, that was raised as a brother, Wayne Lawrence; and son-in-law, Wally McHugh.

Her three children survive her: Bob Farrington of Livermore; Don Farrington of Jay and Kathy McHugh of Jay; eight grandchildren: Melissa Fochesato and her husband, Mark; Darcy White and her husband, Travis; Jason Farrington and his wife Heather; Dixie Bonnevie and her husband, Troy; Donna Jewell and her husband, Irv; Chris McHugh and his wife, Addie; Mike McHugh and his wife, Teresa; Cody Farrington and his wife, Crystal; 17 great-grandchildren and number 18 on the way; one brother, Erwin Heath of Greene, several nieces and nephews.
