WILTON – Caleb Irving Dorr, 33, of Wilton passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1981, in Portland the son of Irving and Joy Dorr. He graduated from Mt. Blue High School Class of 2000 and went into the Maine Conservation Corps (Americorps) for six years. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Maine Lodge 20, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons AF & AM.

Caleb established Reboot Computer Repair in Farmington and operated it for eight years with his family and friends, and recently partnered with Ryan Alexander.

He loved music, playing many different instruments, and was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, swimming with his family, and fishing with his dad. Caleb was a dedicated and loving father to Liam and Wyatt who were the lights of his life.

Caleb is survived by two sons Liam C. Dorr and Wyatt J. Dorr; his fiance Cherieann Harrison; his parents Irving and Joy; two sisters Shannon Dorr and companion Greg Greene, and Jessica Dorr and partner David Heroux; two nieces Sadie and MacKenzie; his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and close friends.

Visitation will be held at the Masonic Lodge, 70 Bryant Rd., East Wilton on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at the Lodge on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date at the family’s convenience.

Donations may be made in Caleb’s memory to Foster CTE Center, 129 Seamon Rd., Farmington, ME04938 or The Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.

  3. What a sad loss for Caleb’s family and for the community. Caleb was a gentle man and a gentleman. I know that Cherieann and Caleb’s family will keep his memory alive for the boys, but some losses are just not fair at all. Sincere condolences to all of the family from Terry and me.

  20. Goes to show you that you should follow up with plans. Was planning on dropping in to see Caleb and wish him well with getting his business back up in running. Just heard about his passing and it’s hard to believe as I am sure it is for everyone else.

  25. My deepest sympathy to the entire Dorr family. I could hardly believe this when I read the paper. Such a wonderful you v man. So helpful to this technologically challenge woman.. He was always there to explain and suggest solutions. My heart goes out to those precious little boys and his parents. ….such a terrific shock. Rip Caleb

  28. I only learned of this Tragic and SAD loss today, August 14th. It is SO SAD. I met Caleb years ago when Reboot was in the little back room. I was happy to have a local computer shop, and Caleb and Irving were so friendly and helpful. He was always pleasant whenever you’d see him on the street.

    I was only a customer, but you felt like they were your trusted friends. My heart breaks for ALL of Caleb’s family and friends.
