WATERVILLE – Clifford Alexander Dumont, 64, died August 22, 2012 at Inland Hospital in Waterville. He was born in Waterville on July 10, 1948, the son of Clifford Francis and Lida Marie (Rossignol) Dumont.
He was a graduate of Mt. View, class of 1966 and attended one year of college. Then on August 27, 1966 he married Mary Fortin in Belfast. Clifford was a self employed woodworker specializing in the design and construction of spiral stairs. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, reading and woodworking.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Mary A. (Fortin) Dumont of Benton; 2 sons, Clifford P. Dumont of Benton, Darren Dumont and wife Jojean of Winslow; a brother, Reggie Dumont and wife Mary Jean of Waterville; sister, Donna Creasy and husband Thomas of Albion; 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard Dumont.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Spetember 15, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the VFW, Water Street, Waterville, Maine.
