NORRIDGEWOCK – Donna Marie (Bourgeois) Rogers went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her family on Dec. 26, 2014.
Donna was born in Portland, the daughter of Dana and Helen Bourgeois. Donna was raised in Portland and on Oct. 10, 1960 married Stephen Hammond Rogers of Marblehead, Mass. Stephen and Donna raised five children: Bill, Ian, Phillip, Laura, and Christian.
Donna lived a life of dedication to her family. Being the wife of a coast guardsman, Donna and Stephen moved several times over the years, living up and down the coast of New England, from Lubec to Boston, as well as a station in New Orleans, Louisiana. They resided in Port Charlotte, Florida for seven years, but always considered New England their home. In the past five years, Donna has been living with her son Christian in Norridgewock.
Donna was predeceased by her husband Stephen and her son Bill.
Donna is survived by her sons: Ian, Phillip, Christian, her daughter Laura; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at New Horizons Community Church in Skowhegan on Monday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Skowhegan humane society. Arrangments under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, Skowhegan.
