FAIRFIELD – Edward John Clark, Jr., 65, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at home with his family by his side.
He was born on April 30, 1948 in Concord, New Hampshire, the son of Edward J. and Eunice (Fallinski) Clark, Sr.
He graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1964 and on May 22, 1971 he married Priscilla Poulin in Fairfield. He worked for many years as an agent for the Greyhound Bus Line in Waterville and as a bail commissioner for Kennebec county. Edward loved politics and helping others. His greatest joy was spending time with family and the greatest loves of his life were his wife, grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Priscilla (Poulin) Clark of Fairfield; 2 sons, Edward J. Clark, III and wife Lisa of Norridgewock, Jeffery M. Clark and partner Jill Morrissette of Belgrade; 3 granddaughters, Brianna M. Clark, Gabrielle L. Clark of Belgrade, and Haylee J. Clark of Norridgewock; a grandson, Jeffery M. Clark, Jr. of Belgrade; 2 step granddaughters, Javae Wood and partner Steven Rodrique of Fairfield and Kelsey Wood and partner Joe Paoivcci of Norridgewock; 2 step grandsons, Alex Robinson and Benjamin Edman both of Belgrade; a step great grandson, Ryder James Rodrique of Fairfield; 2 brothers, David Clark and wife Mary of NHVH, James Clark and wife Edith of Bolton, CT; sister, Roseann Clark of Concord, NH; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Clark of Long Island, NY.
A graveside service will be held at Saint Augustine’s Cemetery, Townsend Road in Augusta and will be announced at a later date. At the request of the family there will be no funeral or visitation hours.
