Ellinda Lee Meldrum

FARMINGTON - Ellinda L. Meldrum passed on to be with God at Farmington on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at the age of 74.

Linda was born in Hermitage, Mo., to Birchie and Lucy Tipton. She grew up in Hermitage, Mo.; Kansas City, Mo.; and Knobnoster, Mo.. In 1956, she married Ronald J. Meldrum of Kingfield, Maine, at Lamonte, Mo.

After Ronald answered God's call to pastoral ministry, she served God at his side for over 50 years in eight different churches from Missouri to Maine, leading ladies meetings, playing the piano, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and in many other areas of service.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, Ronald, and granddaughter, Colleen.

She is survived by sons Steven Meldrum of Kingfield, Glen Meldrum of Titusville, Fla., Roger Meldrum of Kingfield, Ronald Meldrum of New Vineyard, Randy Meldrum of Kingfield and Mark Meldrum of Kingfield; six beloved daughters-in-law; and 16 cherished grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Sunnyside Cemetery in Kingfield at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012.
