Eugene F. Bailey (1961-2015)

WILTON – Eugene F. Bailey, 54, of Wilton passed away at his home on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.

He was born on Oct. 15, 1961 in Cambridge, N.Y., the son of Eugene Bailey and Jean Smith. He was a Mt. Blue High School graduate. As a young man he worked at many local farms. He later worked at Waterville Recycling until retiring due to ill health.

Eugene enjoyed listening to country music, going dancing and talking on the CB radio. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Eugene is survived by his mother Jean Smith of Farmington; father Eugene F. Bailey Sr. of Fort Edward, N.Y.; his companion Betty Roderick of Wilton; son Scott Bailey of Lewiston; sister Bonnie McCluskey and her husband David of Jay; three brothers: Greg Bailey and his wife Millie of Strong, Lawrence Church and his wife Patty of Skowhegan, and Charles Haskel and his wife Becky of Jay; four half sisters: Kim, Rosie, Kathy-Jo, and Bobbie-Jo, all of New York; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; and a very special niece Ashlie Church.

He was predeceased by his step father Delmont Smith and a half brother Brian Bailey.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at the Strong Village Cemetery in Strong. Donations may be made in Eugene’s memory to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave, Lewiston, ME 04240.

    Eugene was a great guy I was glad to have meet him and learned a lot rip Eugene I will allways be in my heart and u and Betty where great freinds
