Gary Alan Patrick

FARMINGTON - Gary Alan Patrick, 64, passed away Saturday Jan. 5, 2019 at Central Maine Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was a social worker and a counselor for most of his life. He was known in the community for his irreverent sense of humor, his generosity, and his genuine interest in people. He was always the first to offer us help or a laugh, but also always the one that signed us up for junk mail. Although he has died, his cigar and army surplus magazine subscriptions will remain.

Gary leaves behind his four children; Jack Patrick, Liberty (and Joel) Roberts, Eli Patrick, and Bethany Patrick. He leaves behind six grandchildren; Cinder, Riley 1, Riley 2, Savannah, Bram, and Esme. He also leaves behind a chest freezer of expired baked goods, if anyone wants some.

Gary's family would like to thank all the medical staff at Franklin Memorial Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, CMMC, and especially at Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center for their constant care, attention, and patience.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center, 221 Fairbanks Rd, Farmington, ME 04938. Or you can take some of these baked goods. Please.
