JACKSONVILLE, Florida – Helen L. Sandoval, 84, passed away on May 26, 2014.
Helen was born to the late Harvey Lyman and Grace O. Tracy in Farmington, Maine, where she was raised and educated. She loved traveling throughout the USA, accompanying her husband in his 30-year military career.
Helen enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, reading, sewing, traveling, birding, country dancing and gardening. She was a member of the American Audubon Society.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Sandoval; daughter, Tracy L. Denison of Baltimore, Maryland; son, Gary A. Sandoval of Saint Johns, Florida; brother, Lee Tracy of Bowdoinham, Maine; granddaughters, Niki Denison USMC Cherry Point, North Carolina; Desi Denison and Chrissy F. Denison of Baltimore, Maryland; Kimberly Boyd of Saint Johns, Florida; and Amy-Jo Blake of Jena, Louisiana; and great-grandson, Brody Boyd.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 29 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
