FARMINGTON – Kade McIntire Johnson, 6, of Midlothian, Texas, died unexpectedly on Nov. 14, 2015 in Tennessee Colony, Texas.

He was born on July 4, 2009, in Boston, Mass., the son of Hannah McIntire Johnson. He moved to Midlothian, Texas with his mother as an infant. He was a first grader at LaRue Miller Elementary School.

Kade loved going to school, swimming, camping, playing with his swords, and being an Army man. He was a shy, fun-loving kid with a big imagination and a big heart. He could easily make others laugh and he loved eating ice cream.

He is survived by his grandmother, Cynthia Johnson, Uncle Erik (Trudy) Johnson of Farmington; Aunt Elizabeth ( Jonathan) VanKirk of Freeland, Michigan; his cousins, Emily VanKirk, Alex VanKirk, Sophia (Kevin) Jesse, Sabrina VanKirk and Anna VanKirk, all of Freeland, Michigan; Erika Johnson and Mariah Johnson of Farmington; his great uncles, Al Johnson, Terrence Johnson, Evan (Maria) McIntire; his great aunts, Nancy (Bob) Dionne and Naomi (Richard) Doughty.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015  at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 612 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, with Pastor Terry McKinley officiating.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.

  1. Kade was such a handsome little boy and was enjoying time with the family camping. It is very sad that Kade and his families lives were cut short due to someone who would do this horrible thing to so many innocent people who were just enjoying life together

  2. Kade was such a sweet little guy. Didn’t know the family members but our thoughts are with Trudy, Erik and girls.
