ROCKLAND – Our lovely angel, Kathleen, passed away from a long battle with cancer on April 21 with loved ones by her side.

She was born October 15, 1949 in Rhode Island, the daughter of William and Phyllis Frost. Kathy graduated from Rockland HS, Maine, then went to CMMC for nursing. She graduated in 1973 and became an RN shortly after. Kathy was an excellent, caring nurse and was very devoted to her profession. She worked at Franklin Memorial Hospital for many years and also local nursing homes.

Kathy loved sci-fi, horses, and her family and always had a thirst for knowledge and a deep appreciation for nature. Kathy is survived by her daughter Kaitlin Frost, partner Howard Lenard, sisters Phyllis Ruth Lovejoy, Weld, ME, Lillian Morrison and her husband Ernie from Oxnard CA., brothers Robert Frost, Jay, ME and William Frost, Utah, her dog Ginger, nieces and nephews in California and Maine, other family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

There will be no service.

  1. I was very sorry to hear about Kathleen`s recent passing. I worked with Kathleen for a great length of time at our
    local FMH. Kathleen was a great RN, a high spirited person with a keen sense of humor that the patients enjoyed and appreciated along with Kathleen`s excellent nursing care. My Sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Kathleen`s family.

  3. My deepest sympathy. She was a very caring nurse and wonderful coworker. I enjoyed working with her and learning from her when I was a new graduate.

  5. My heart goes out to Kathy’s family . I had the pleasure of working with her at FMH, her mother and sisters many moons ago . She was an excellent nurse and coworker with a great sense of humor . I was also lucky to have the fun of socializing with them . Many good memories from those years with a very memorable crew on 3-11 . Hugs to you all.
