Lawrence Franklin Cole (1941-2019)

VIENNA – Lawrence Franklin Cole, 77, of Vienna, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2019, at Sandy River Center in Farmington.

He was born on Aug. 3, 1941, in Skowhegan, the son of Stanley Cole and Dorothy (Crocker) Cole-Lewis.

Lawrence worked for many years and retired from the Town of Monmouth Transfer Station. The family would like to thank the staff at Sandy River Center for the wonderful care and friendship that Lawrence received throughout his stay there.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Donna Cole of Vienna; daughters, Janet Ladd and husband Hal of Mt. Vernon, Wendy Gagnon and husband Don of Strong; sons, Larry Cole and wife Ella of Winthrop, Andrew Cole of Vienna; grandchildren, Richard Ladd and companion Elizabeth of Turner, Richell and Ashley Ladd of Mt. Vernon, John Cole and wife Abby of Auburn, Curtis Cole of Winthrop, Amber Soha and husband Nick of Chesterville, Hailey Fowle of Farmington; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Pierce and companion Russell Walker of Nederland, Texas, Marilyn Bickford and companion Roger Bard of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; stepfather, Seth Lewis; father in-law, Gordon Snell; brother in-law, Michael Phelan; and many aunts and uncles.

At Lawrence’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, ME 04938.
