FARMINGTON – Linda Lou Woodcock, 74, passed away on Dec. 30, 2018, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 13, 1944, in Avon, the daughter of Lawrence and Victoria (Knowlan) White.

She was educated in the schools of Phillips. Linda married Kirtley Woodcock in 1962, and they made their home in Salem Township for many years. In her early years, she worked at Farmington Shoe and Bass Shoe. Later on, she was Activity Director at Edgewood Manor in Farmington. She became a Certified Residential Medication Aide. Most recently, she was the Director at Orchard Park Assisted Living in Farmington. Linda enjoyed hunting, fishing, growing herbs, gardening and canning.

Linda is survived by; her granddaughter, Erica Condon and husband Bud, and great grandson, Carson of Albion; two sisters, Pamela Virgin of Canton, Joella Ross and husband James of Phillips; four brothers, Lawrence White of Avon, William White and wife Jeanne of Salem Township, Dale White and wife Kim of Madrid, Steven White of Livermore Falls; and longtime friend, Sharon Sauschuck of Madrid. She was predeceased by; her husband, Kirtley Woodcock (2001); parents, Lawrence and Irene White; and sister, Leola Coolong.

At Linda’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.

  2. My condolences to Linda’s family. May memories of Linda comfort you, in your time of sorrow. Linda and I were very best friends during our growing up years in Dryden.   5. To all of Linda’s Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very sad time. I was a cashier at Beal’s General Store when I met Kirtley and Linda. Two very wonderful people that always made me laugh!! So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing.
