FARMINGTON – Michael O. Quimby, 73, of Rangeley passed away Saturday, July 19 at Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center in Farmington.

He was born May 15, 1941 in Rangeley the son of Owen “Jud” and Rosefield Quimby. He enjoyed his boat, snow machine, tractor, and family. He also enjoyed people and loved animals, especially his little dogs Ivy Jo and Sonse.

Michael is survived by his sister Alice Smith; brother Everett Quimby; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sat., Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Rangeley. Donations may be made in Michael’s memory to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Rd., Farmington, Maine 04938 or Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave., Lewiston, Maine 04240. Arrangements under the care of Adams-McFarlane Funeral & Cremation Services, 108 Court St., Farmington.
