REDINGTON – Paul E. Ireland, Sr., 76, died September 4, 2013 at Redington-Fairview General Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born January 4, 1937 in Lincoln, the son of Laurence P. and Bessie S. (Lancaster) Ireland.
He attended Mattanawcook Academy and earned his GED in 1973. He was employed by the railroad, then for 16 years at G.E. Godin & Sons in Lincoln as well as McCarthy’s in Skowhegan. Paul loved to hunt and fish.
Paul is survived by his long time companion, Patricia Hines of Skowhegan; 3 daughters, Mary Henderson and husband Garry of Norridgewock, Tina Tash and husband Carroll of Lincoln, Megan Panchuck and husband Ben of Sanford; 2 sons, Paul Ireland, Jr. and companion Rhonda of Lincoln, Russell Ireland and companion Cathy of Norridgewock; Kristy DeBary who he raised as his own; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; 1 brother and 2 sisters. He was predeceased by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the East Skowhegan Cemetery on Oak Pond Road, Skowhegan.
