She was born in Farmington, April 18, 1956, a daughter of Donald “Bucky” and Helen (Adams) Buchanan and grew up in East Wilton. She attended local schools and was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Blue High School.

She was an accomplished real estate broker, having been affiliated with Sandy River Realty. She enjoyed spending time with her children, traveling, and felt at peace at her home and at her beloved camp on Webb Lake in Weld. She was an animal lover, taking great joy in her dogs and cats, and watching the deer around her home.

Paula was a proud and devoted mother and will be missed by all who knew her.
