Ronald Day Markee (1943 – 2012)
BANGOR - Ronald Day Markee, 69, of Waterville, Maine passed away August 5, 2012 a Eastern Maine Medical Center, in Bangor, Maine, after a long illness of heart problems, with his family by his side. He was born in April 25, 1943 in Portland a son of William and Marjorie (Winslow) Markee.
Ronald attended Winslow Schools and was a graduate of Winslow High School. He was a self-employed master electrician for forty years in the Waterville area. He was a dedicated member of Calvary Temple in Waterville. Ronald loved his grandchildren and his large family gatherings.
Ronald is survived by his daughter Brianna DeRocher and her husband Paul and three children Zeke, Zach and Zoe of Utah; his son Leeman and his wife Christina of Denver, Colorado; two sisters Lorrane Boucher and Dorothy Rideout both of Winslow; four brothers Lynn and his wife Betty of Lewiston, Dale and his wife Nancy of Lebanon, N.H.; James and his wife Ivy of St. Augustine, Fl. and Tom and his wife Claudette of Winslow; two sister-in-laws Gayle and her husband Bill Begin and Ruth Markee; many nieces and nephews
Ronald was predeceased by his parents and six brothers, Keith, Leonard, Jerry, Robert, Ted and his twin Rodney.
At Ronald request there will be visitation hours. A Celebration of Ronald life will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Calvary Temple on West River Road in Waterville.
