WINSLOW – Sandra Mae (Attaya) Frazier, 71, passed away on July 23, 2015 at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta.

She was born on April 14, 1944, in Waterville, the daughter of Edgar and Fern C. (Carey) Laney. Sandra was educated in local area schools and graduated from Winslow High School in 1962. On July 4, 1985, she married Robert Frazier.

She was employed for many years as a waitress at the Jefferson, Lam’s Restaurant, Mie-Lam-Lau and as a clerk at the Big Apple. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and with friends at the doughnut shop, talking over coffee.

She is survived by her son, Tim Attaya, Jr. of Cosby, Tenn.; daughter, Deborah Park of Chelsea; mother, Fern Small of Skowhegan; two grandsons: Derek Pamphrey of Clinton and Seth Park of Chelsea; granddaughter, Sheyenne Attaya of Fairfield; four brothers: Donald Laney and wife Nancy of Winslow, Philip Small of Canaan, Richard Small and partner Linda Shapliegh of Benton, and Gary Small of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Shirley Small of Benton; several nieces and nephews; life long friends, Virginia Bourgoin of Winslow and Priscilla Clark of Fairfield.

She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Attaya and a brother, Dale Small.

A Graveside service will be held at the Saint Francis Cemetery in Waterville and will be announced at a later date.
